PUBLIC NOTICE
Snow and Ice Removal from Sidewalks

It is the responsibility of the property owners to remove snow and ice promptly from sidewalks.  If the snow and ice are not removed within twenty-four hours, the City may do so and assess the costs against the property owner.

OFFICIAL NOTICE:
Snow Removal Parking
Effective Dates:
November 15th thru April 15th

On odd number calendar days beginning at five o'clock 5:00 p.m. parking only on the odd numbered side of the street (East Side) or avenue (South Side) until 5:00 p.m. of the next day.  On even numbered calendar days beginning at 5:00 p.m. parking only on the even numbered side of the street (West Side) or avenue (North Side) until 5:00 p.m. on the next day.  This parking regulation will be enforced throughout the day regardless of whether it snows or does not snow during the period beginning November 15th thru April 15th. PARKING VIOLATIONS: ALTERNATE.  
Admitted violations of parking restrictions imposed by this Code of Ordinances may be charged upon a simple notice of a fine payable at the office of the City Clerk.  The simple notice of a fine shall be in the amount of fifteen dollars ($15.00) for all violations except improper use of a persons with disabilities parking permit.  If such fine is not paid within thirty (30) days, it shall be increased by five dollars ($5.00).  The simple notice of a fine for improper use of a persons with disabilities parking permit is one hundred dollars ($100.00).  Failure to pay the simple notice of a fine shall be grounds for the filing of a complaint in District Court.
