PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE ABOVE-MENTIONED GOVERNMENTAL BODY WILL MEET AT THE DATE, TIME AND PLACE SET OUT ABOVE. THE TENTATIVE AGENDA FOR SAID MEETING IS AS FOLLOWS:
ROLL CALL: Trachta, Rieks, Wiley, Conlin, Lickteig

- Motion to recommend reappointment for Richard Schorr.
- Motion to recommend appointment for Codey Hayek.

MINUTES
Cresco, Iowa Planning and Zoning Meeting
August 12, 2025, at 6 PM
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm.
Roll call: Conlan, Wiley, Rieks, Lickteig, and Trachta were present.
Codey Hayek, Richard Schorr, and Dave Brenno (Public Works Director) were also in attendance.
Trachta made a motion to approve the agenda, and minutes from January 29, 2025, 2nd by Wiley, passed all ayes.
Richard Schorr had submitted his application to be reappointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission. He shared his background and reasons he wanted to be on the commission.
After the discussion ended, and all questions were answered, Conlan made a motion to recommend to the City Council the reappointment Richard Schorr to the Planning and Zoning Commission, with Wiley seconding the motion. A roll call vote was held, and the motion passed with all ayes.
Codey Hayek had submitted his application to be appointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission. He shared his background and reasons he wanted to be on the commission.
After the discussion ended, and all questions were answered, Trachta made a motion to recommend to the City Council the appointment of Codey Hayek to the Planning and Zoning Commission, with Lickteig seconding the motion. A roll call vote was held, and the motion passed with all ayes.
A motion was made by Lickteig to adjourn, 2nd by Wiley. Motion carried all ayes.
Meeting adjourned at 6:12 pm.
