DATE OF MEETING: DECEMBER 3, 2025
TIME AND PLACE OF MEETING: 12:45 P.M. CITY HALL, 130 N PARK PLACE
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE ABOVE MENTIONED
GOVERNMENTAL BODY WILL MEET AT THE DATE, TIME AND PLACE SET OUT ABOVE. THE TENTATIVE AGENDA FOR SAID MEETING IS AS FOLLOWS:
ROLL CALL: CARMAN, BOUSKA, FOSAAEN, McCONNELL, KRIENER
BUSINESS: There may be action taken on each of the items listed below.
1. Budget Meetings with Each Department Head
2. Resolution Approving Change Order No. 5 for the Scene Shop Project for the City of Cresco
3. Resolution Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to Sign a Right-of-Entry for Construction for the Scene Shop Project with MB Inc (Extending Previous Right-ofEntry that was Approved by Resolution #032503)

THIS NOTICE IS GIVEN AT THE DIRECTION OF THE MAYOR PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 21, CODE OF IOWA AND THE LOCAL RULES OF SAID GOVERNMENTAL BODY. POSTED DECEMBER 2, 2025.
MINUTES
Mayor Fortune called the Cresco City Council meeting to order on December 3, 2025 at 12:45 pm. Council Members Carman, Fosaaen, Bouska, McConnell, and Kriener were present. No council members were absent.
Council met with each Department Head to receive their budget requests for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027. Each department discussed current and future projects, as well as their needs for future equipment purchases.
Council will consider all of the requests and will meet at a future date to look at the budget for the City as a whole. Depending on the projected revenues and expenses, Council will then decide what projects and equipment purchases can be completed in the next budget.
Fosaaen made the motion to approve a resolution approving Change Order No. 5 for the Scene Shop Project for changing the substantial completion date to January 16, 2026 due to construction and supply delays. Bouska seconded and it passed all ayes.
Kriener made a motion to approve the resolution authorizing the mayor to sign a right-of-entry for construction related to the Scene Shop Project with MB Inc extending previous resolution 032503 until January 30,2026. McConnell seconded and it passed all ayes.
Bouska moved to adjourn the Council Meeting at 4:38 pm. Fosaaen seconded and it passed all ayes. The next regular Cresco City Council meeting will be December 15, 2025, at 5:30 pm at Cresco City Hall.
