MINUTES
Mayor Fortune called the Cresco City Council special meeting to order on May 27, 2025 at 9:00 am. Council Members Carman, Bouska, Fosaaen, McConnell, and Kriener were present. No council members were absent.
Bill Angerman from WHKS discussed the proposed housing development on York Street, noting that the DNR should be involved given the scope of the project. He indicated that the developer may need to obtain permits for water, sewer, and stormwater systems before the Council can approve any utility connections. This permitting process could help address potential future issues. Attorney John Anderson also responded to several questions from the Council regarding easements, annexation, and public purpose of the connections.
Carman moved to adjourn the Council Meeting at 10:11 am. McConnell seconded, and it passed all ayes. The next regular Cresco City Council meeting will be June 2, 2025, at 5:30 pm at Cresco City Hall.
