THIS NOTICE IS GIVEN PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 21, CODE OF IOWA AND THE LOCAL RULES OF SAID GOVERNMENTAL BODY. POSTED: December 16, 2025
President Herold called the Cresco Park and Recreation meeting to order on 12/17/2025, at 5:30 pm at the Cresco Fitness Center (CFC). Board Members Denner, Herold, Hovden, Johnson and were present.
Also Present: Brandon Kerian and Rich McConnell
Herold made the motion to approve the consent agenda which included the approval of the agenda; claims, and minutes of the November 19, 2025 meeting. Hovden seconded the motion and it passed all ayes.

Kerian reported on the Fitness Center:
Memberships: 809
24/7 Memberships: 154
Kerian discussed the completion of the new flooring and grates installed in the pool deck. Kerian advised the spa heater needs to be replaced and discussed costs.
Kerian discussed the new CFC Building and proposed options for budget and renderings of the new CFC Building layout. During this discussion, Kerian ran through the estimated timeline for the CFC New Building Fundraising efforts, as well as the proposed location(s) within the new CFC building for the Gundersen Rehab Clinic .
Kerian reported on Parks:
Kerian discussed the Ice Rink has been filled and will open when iced over.
Parks and Recreation Basketball season starts January 5th, 2026.
Hovden moved to adjourn at 6:00 pm. Johnson seconded and it passed all ayes. The next regular Cresco Park and Rec meeting is scheduled for January 14, at 5:30 pm at CFC.
