Kerian reported on the Fitness Center:
Kerian advised the new heater for the spa is expected to arrive within the coming week.
Kerian discussed the new CFC Building and presented the newly proposed layouts to Emergent Architecture and requested new estimates. During this discussion, Kerian advised communication is ongoing with Gundersen Rehab Clinic regarding proposed relocation spaces within the facility. Feedback was presented to Kerian by Gundersen for consideration and additional research and estimates will be evaluated.
Kerian brought to attention the highly requested offering for temporary or seasonal 24/7 access passes. Board members requested a mockup of what temporary or seasonal 24/7 access pass offerings could look like and will be evaluated during the following Park Board meeting.
Kerian reported on Parks:
Kerian discussed the ongoing maintenance required for the portable picnic tables. He recommended discontinuing their upkeep and proposed that the tables be retired and made available for community members or local businesses to bid on. This would remove the maintenance responsibility of the Parks Department. Hovden made a motion to approve the retirement of the picnic tables from the Park Department. Meyers seconded the motion, and it passed all ayes.
Denner moved to adjourn at 6:10 pm. Meyers seconded, and it passed all ayes. The next regular Cresco Park and Rec meeting is scheduled for February 11, at 5:30 pm at CFC.
Respectfully Submitted,
Chelsey Hovden, Board Secretary
