| Ross called meeting to order at 5:17 pm Roll Call… Present… Clair Pecinovsky, Rick Sovereign, Ross Merritt, Bryan Schmitt In attendance… Rich McConnell / councilman, Jason Passmore / chamber of Commerce Motion to approve agenda… 1st Clair, 2nd Bryan…all approved Motion to approve minutes… 1st Rick, 2nd Clair… all approved Motion to approve claims & financials… Ist Rick, 2nd Clair… all approved |
| New Business… 1. Looked over Mehmert Tiling Inc. quote for clean up of brush & stumps. Bryan made motion to accept, Rick 2nd… all approved 2. Looked over and made some changes to WHKS draft and plans for tractor/ mower shed addition. After corrections and changes Bryan made motion to approve & give to contractors for bid, 2nd Rick, all approved. 3. Discussion & location of possible hanger. Was agreed to use A. L. P. location. Private hanger construction would need to comply to standard size of 30 feet deep and opening to accommodate 10 x 40 door. Diagram and plans would need to be looked at by commission before any working out of ground lease/ rent and all conditions to the effect & time deemed necessary in contract for prior approval. 4. Jason brought flyers of upcoming Flight Breakfast on August 3rd. Would like to use hanger one & two as in past years. Tenants were ok with that also again & willing to help set up…. hope for a good flying weather day. 5. Open discussion…. There is still one vacancy on the airport commission to be filled with someone living within the city. City will run ad again in the paper. 6. Next Meeting… Aug. 6th 7.
