Cresco Public Library Board Minutes
May 11, 2026
President Joe Kaletka called the Cresco Public Library Board meeting to order on May 11, 2026, at 5:30 PM in the CPL Program Room. Board Members Tamra Foster, Karn Friedges, Joe Kaletka, Janann Meyer, Bryan Sheehy and Leann Thomas were present.
Guests in attendance were Jordyn Moore (Library Director) and Jim Wolfe (City Council)
Foster made the motion to approve the agenda, approve the claims, and approve the minutes from the April 20, 2026 Cresco Public Library Board meeting. Friedges seconded and approval of recurring items passed with all ayes.
Foster made the motion to approve the new hires, Library Assistants Amanda Jackson and Sara Troy at $12/hour and Library Pages Tasha Slade and Collin Tegler at $9/hour. Meyer seconded and motion passed with all ayes.
Meyer made the motion to approve Library Employee Wages Increase for the fiscal year 2026-2027, effective July 1, 2026. Sheehy seconded and motion passed with all ayes.

Friedges moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:08 PM. Meyer seconded and the motion passed with all ayes. The next regular Cresco Public Library Board meeting will be Monday, June 1, 2026 at 5:30 PM in the CPL Program Room.
