ORDINANCE NO. 533
SPEED REGULATIONS
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF CRESCO, IOWA, BY AMENDING
PROVISIONS PERTAINING TO SPEED REGULATIONS
BE IT ENACTED by the City Council of the City of Cresco, Iowa, as follows:
SECTION 1. SECTIONS MODIFED. Chapter 63.04, Subsection 2, Paragraphs B and adding Chapter 63.04, Subsection 3 Paragraph B in the Code of Ordinances of the City of Cresco, Iowa, are repealed and the following adopted in lieu thereof:
63.04 SPECIAL SPEED ZONES.
- Special 25 MPH Speed Zones. A speed in excess of twenty-five (25) miles per hour is unlawful on any of the following designated streets or part thereof.
- Sixth Avenue West from Granger Road (Third Street West) to 7th Street West
63.04 SPECIAL SPEED ZONES.
- Special 35 MPH Speed Zones. A speed in excess of thirty-five (35) miles per hour is unlawful on any of the following designated streets or part thereof.
- Sixth Avenue West from 7th Street West to Donaldson Road.
SECTION 2. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 3. WHEN EFFECTIVE. This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its final passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
