The Cresco City Council has recently updated an ordinance pertaining to parking regulations. Key changes are: no parking of commercial vehicles with a freight capacity greater than one ton, or any trailer, farm equipment, boat, recreational vehicle on any street unless actively loading or unloading; changes to the noise restriction for large vehicles; and permits for commercial service trailers. The ordinance was approved during the Council meeting held on September 3, 2025 and will go into effect on September 10, 2025. The full ordinance can be found at Updated Parking Ordinance
