Issac Wiltgen Legacy Foundation

Posted: February 22, 2024 | Updated: February 22, 2024

The Cresco Fitness Center founded the Isaac Wiltgen Legacy Foundation after his parents, Mark and LuAnn Wiltgen wanted to give a gift to remember their son, Isaac, who passed in July of 2023.  They wanted it to be a gift that would be dear to Isaac’s heart and reflect his enthusiasm for life. He was a very active kid growing up in Cresco, enjoying participation in several Park and Rec. programs throughout his youth. Issac would go on to graduate from Crestwood High School in 2012 as a very successful student-athlete. In memory of Issac, they donated a starter fund to the Cresco Park and Rec. Department to establish a foundation to financially aid families in need so every child could afford any Park and Rec activity, program and/or uniform.

The Isaac Wiltgen Legacy Foundation is honoring Isaac by continuing this effort so all current and future youth will continue to enjoy the same experiences and opportunities that Isaac had growing up in Cresco through Park and Rec.  If you feel called to donate to IWLF, please visit the Cresco Fitness Center Front Desk for more information or click the on the donation link.

*If you choose to donate online, under “Description of Recreation”, please type “Issac Wiltgen Legacy Foundation”. A processing fee of 2.95% ($1.00 minimum) will be added to your total. Thank you!

Any donation, large or small, will help benefit a child in need. Having this foundation is an absolute honor and privilege to remember one of Cresco’s finest.  We encourage you and thank you for your support in helping the youth in our community.
